Ice cards
Ice cards are cards covered in a layer of frost. In order to remove them, you have to play two cards - one of them removes the frost, and the other one removes the card from the board.
It's not the easiest to deal with them but don't worry. Just read this guide to learn they're less scary than they seem to be!
The mechanics and strategy
Your main card is used to remove the layer of frost and it's destroyed in the process. Then, your previously collected card becomes your new main card.
Try to remember what you collected. If you do that, you might use the previously removed card to collect another card from the board.
It's better to not use a Joker to remove the layer of frost because then, it gets discarded. It's more efficient to use a Joker to clear a normal card that could remove the frost. Then, once you remove the frost with this card, you can play the Joker again!
Let's imagine that you have a normal king card on the board, as well as an ace card which is covered in frost. In order to deal with it in the most efficient way possible, first, use a Joker on the normal king card. Now, your main card is the king card. Use it to remove the frost from the ace card. Thanks to that, you can play the Joker again. This tactic is shown in the GIF below:
Remember that you can also remove the frost by using a Wrecking Ball. It can be extremely helpful when multiple cards are covered in it.
Now, it's time for you to fearlessly face ice cards, good luck! 🧊
