We understand that some ads might not match your interests, or you may find them inappropriate or upsetting. While our game team doesn't control the ads shown, you can manage and influence what ads you see. Facebook decides on the ads across the entire platform, so you'll encounter similar ads not just in the game but elsewhere on Facebook too.
Hereβs how you can adjust your ad preferences to make your experience more personalized:

1. Manage Your Off-Facebook Activity
Some businesses share your interactions (like purchases) with Facebook to show more relevant ads.. For example, if you've shopped for dresses at shop XYZ, Facebook might receive information about it to better target ads. To control what data is shared:
- Disconnect specific activity: Remove history from a selected website or app.
- Clear previous activity: Remove all history from every site or app.
- Manage future activity: Allow or block businesses from sharing your activity with Facebook. If blocked, no new data will be shared, and past data will be cleared.
You can do all of the above here: https://www.facebook.com/off_facebook_activity
You can also opt out of data sharing through the Digital Advertising Alliance in the USA, Canada, or Europe.
2. Block specific advertisers
You can block advertisers you've recently seen. Since the list is updated frequently, check soon after seeing an ad you don't like. Open the following link, and click "Hide Ads" next to the advertisers you want to block: https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/advertisers
3. Report an Ad in the Meta Ad Library
The Meta Ad Library stores information about all the ads running on their platforms. Click here to access its website. Choose your location and ad category. Then, use the search bar to find the ad you wish to report. Once located, click the next to it and select 'Report ad.' Choose the reason for the report from the list. Afterward, the report will be forwarded to Meta.
Metaβs Ad Library keeps track of all the ads running across Facebook. To report an ad:
- Go to the Meta Ad Library: https://www.facebook.com/ads/library
- Choose your location and ad category.
- Search for the ad, click the icon next to it, and select "Report ad."
- Pick a reason, and the report will be sent to Meta.
4. Manage the Data Used to Target You
Advertisers use data to reach you based on different factors. You can control which details are used:
- Activity information from ad partners.
- Categories used to reach you.
- Audience-based advertising.
- Ads shown outside of Meta.
You can adjust your preferences for each category here: https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/ad_settings
5. Adjust Ad Topics
Facebook selects ad topics based on your activity, showing ads they think might interest you. To manage these topics:
- Open the following link and click "View and manage topics": https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/ad_topics
- Youβll see a list of ad topics. Click on any topic and decide if you want to see more, less, or have no preference for it.
