In our game, the Teams chat functionality is designed to keep the team connected and informed about each other's achievements without the complexity of managing a free-text chat system. This ensures a safe, moderated environment for all players while still allowing dynamic interactions.

Automated Achievement Posts

Rather than enabling free text entry, which requires moderation for inappropriate content, our team chat automatically posts player achievements. This method not only keeps the chat clean and focused but also celebrates each player's progress and contributions to the team. Here are examples of achievements that might automatically appear in the chat:

• Tournament Achievements: Like overtaking a certain number of players or reaching a promotion zone.
• Mission Completion: Successfully completing all daily missions.
• Level Wins: Achievements for winning specific World Tour Championship (WTC) Levels or ABC Waves.
• Special Unlocks: Such as unlocking new maps or cosmetics.
• Rare Finds: Opening a high-value treasure chest or hitting the jackpot on the Slot Machine or Lucky Prize Wheel.
• Challenges: Achievements related to the Win Streak Challenge or Community Challenges.

Each achievement post includes any team points earned, linking individual accomplishments directly to team progress.

Emojis and Expressions

• Emoji Communication: Players can express reactions and emotions using emojis. This feature includes a cooldown of 10 seconds to prevent spamming.

Team News and Updates

• Membership Changes: Any changes in team composition, such as new members joining or existing members leaving, are automatically posted in the chat.
• Leadership Changes: When a member is promoted to the team lead position, it is announced in the chat.
• Purchases: Notifications when a member purchases a team gift are also shared.

Chat Visibility

• Message Limit: Only the last 20 messages are visible in the chat to maintain clarity and relevance.
• Message Expiry: Messages older than 14 days are automatically deleted to keep the chat fresh and up-to-date.

Rewards Progress

Integrated directly within the chat tab is the progress bar for team rewards. This integration helps players see the direct impact of the achievements on their team's progress. By having both the achievements and the progress bar in the same place, the team can easily track how close they are to reaching their next goal.
